Paraprofessional Educator

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist Classroom Teachers
• Deliver instruction and reinforce learning concepts
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs
• Manage Classroom Behavior
• Help students with daily activities, organization, and social interactions
• Collaborate with Teachers
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies

Requirements:

• Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable
• Skill Set
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
