About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to join a small family-owned business in a non-union environment. The facility specializes in refurbishing and chrome plating crankshafts, with a focus on quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize manual grinders to grind crankshafts to precise specifications
  • Work with hand tools to adjust lathes and ensure accurate measurements
  • Perform quality control checks using micrometers and calipers
  • Manipulate heavy equipment, including overhead cranes, to move crankshafts
  • Identify and address any issues with crankshaft surfaces using the correct abrasive materials
Work Environment

The facility is a heavy industrial environment with a focus on safety. Employees are required to wear hard hats and safety glasses, and must provide their own metatarsal or steel-toed boots.
