Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
The Boiler Room Operator is a vital member of the facilities team at Kenvue, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's mechanical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system checks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Repair and replace defective equipment and systems as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services.
- Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
An Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
