We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in White Plains, NY.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist will work under the supervision of the Radiology Administrator and/or designee, performing routine and special procedure imaging, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist radiologists as needed
  • Perform routine and special procedure imaging
  • Prepare, operate, and care for equipment being used
  • Develop and process film/CDs when needed
  • Adhere to established radiology standards of care and principles of radiation protection
  • Assume responsibility for assigned area and duties
  • Adhere to practice-wide customer service programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as quality assurance
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital-based program, with NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit, ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph (R), and BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Continuing education requirements must be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies, and DOH IV certification is preferred or must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Radiation dose pledge for both Image Gently and Image Wisely through the American College of Radiology (ACR) will be performed during the orientation process and before the end of the probationary period.
