We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with 1+ year of recent cath lab or IR experience to provide on-call nursing support for critical procedural areas. This role will carry out patient care assignments and perform established nursing procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides on-call nursing support for critical procedural service areas.
  • Adheres to patient safety goals, fall and skin precautions, restraint use, and medication administration policies. Educates patient and family.
  • Completes patient assessment based on diagnosis and scheduled procedure; identifies discrepancies or conditions that would impact planned care. Documents care provided.
  • Handles assignment changes. Identifies opportunities for practice improvements. Identifies additional supplies and equipment needed.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support
  • Registered Nurse
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
