Job Description

Bartender Position Overview

The Bartender position is a key role in providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering beverage service to our guests and cocktail servers while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service and positively impact interactions with customers and employees.
  • Maintain company funds and equipment in an orderly manner.
  • Pour drinks according to established recipes and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Project 21 – Minors in Casino.
  • Demonstrate specific product offerings and ordering procedures.
  • Monitor proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars.
  • Communicate any problems or situations detrimental to the company to immediate supervisors.
  • Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and accountable for any and all overages and shortages.
  • Open and close bars according to established procedures.
  • Provide work direction for bar attendants assigned to the bar.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the operation of all bar equipment.
  • Ability to direct cocktail servers.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses and certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
  • Bartender experience required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
