Electrical Equipment Inspector

As an Electrical Inspector at Ducommun, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our electrical equipment meets the highest standards. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in inspecting electrical components and assemblies to ensure they meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first piece/first article inspections to ensure electrical equipment meets customer standards
- Conduct receiving inspections on raw materials, in-process inspections on work in progress, and final inspections on completed assemblies
- Inspect a variety of electronic components and assemblies, including printed wiring boards, connectors, and flexible circuits
- Check for availability of tools, equipment, and materials, and arrange the workplace for proper working procedure
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and previous operations are indicated on documents
- Complete rejected material dispositions (RMD) paperwork and process for approval
- Maintain and calibrate equipment used in inspection and manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support to coworkers, suppliers, or customers, including identifying and correcting specific problems
Requirements:
- High school diploma required, college education or business school preferred
- Minimum 2 years of electrical inspection experience preferred
- Proficient use of inspection tools and associated technical documents
- Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels
- Knowledge of required standards, including ISO and Mil Specs
- Intermediate level computer proficiency, including email, Word, and Excel
