Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Grace Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years of acute care experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 and 12 months of hire, respectively.
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
