About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time and benefitted opportunity that combines your critical care experience with the autonomy and flexibility of home care.
As a Hospital at Home ICU Nurse, you will work in a team-based environment as an extension of a hospital care team, delivering quality skilled nursing care to multiple clients in transition from hospital to home.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality skilled nursing care to clients and families in the comfort of their own homes.
- Work collaboratively with the hospital care team to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home.
- Provide extensive training to families and ongoing care teams to ensure successful transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse.
- At least one year of verifiable work experience as an RN.
- NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care trach/vent experience required.
- Demonstrates competence in performance of waived testing, tracheostomy/ventilator care, and infusion experience.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Ability to work in a teaching setting to prepare and educate families and BAYADA care team for the transition from hospital to home.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to travel across a set geography in the Philadelphia area.
