We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PreOp PACU department at SCA Health. As a RN PreOp PACU, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe transition of patients from the preoperative to the postoperative phase.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort, including pain management and wound care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education to patients and families on postoperative care and recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
- Current state licensure to practice nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
- Competitive hourly rate: $50.00-$52.00 per hour.
