Job Title: Director of Facilities

Sodexo is seeking a seasoned Facilities Director to lead our team in Alexandria, LA. As a key member of our Corporate Services Division, you will be responsible for managing total integrated facilities, including hard and soft services, landscaping, grounds, predictive and preventative maintenance, and property infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for employees and clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve facilities management, including energy efficiency and cost savings initiatives.
  • Manage a team of skilled tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and carpenters, to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, including energy savings programs.
  • Prepare and maintain departmental records and reports, including performance evaluations for assigned personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of successful leadership and technical acumen.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of skilled tradespeople.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, preferably Maximo.
  • Experience in industrial safety systems and programs.
