As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with Go Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain computed tomography (CT) scanners, ensuring that patients receive high-quality imaging services.

About the Role

This is a 12-week assignment, working 36 hours per week, with a shift schedule of 3 x 12-hour nights. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and must be able to adapt to changing situations quickly.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have
  • Position patients correctly on the scanner table, using immobilization devices as necessary
  • Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, taking action if there are any concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and imaging results
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in radiologic technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a registered technologist (RT) in computed tomography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn new procedures and technologies
