Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Photographer, you will be responsible for operating advanced medical equipment to capture high-quality images of the eye.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate an Ophthalmic fundus camera to photograph portions of the eye, including the anterior segment, ocular adnexa, and ocular fundus.
  • Explain test procedures and purpose to patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate test readings during procedures.
  • Perform fluorescing angiography and ultrasound diagnostic procedures.
  • Prepare exam results for interpretation by physicians.
  • Consult with physicians concerning test results and alert them to positive test results or test abnormalities.
  • Assume other activities and responsibilities as directed.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year experience as an ophthalmic photographer is required.
  • Certification by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel on Ophthalmology is preferred.
