About the Role:

As a Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide high-quality care and assistance to residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory impairments. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, dining, etc.)
  • Building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and your Silverado team
  • Assisting with keeping proper care records and reporting any changes to the nursing team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Compassion and patience when interacting with residents
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately record resident information
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with:

  • Personal or professional experience as a caregiver or caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or another debilitating illness
  • Previous experience working in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities
