Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our medical team at VCA Madison Animal Hospitals. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting our veterinarians with medical procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical preparation
  • Perform laboratory work, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and pharmacy duties
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals, including patient recovery and monitoring
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent client service
Requirements
  • CVT, RVT, or LVT certification
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
