Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and certified Radiologic Technologist to work in our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. They will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.

  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, positioning them correctly, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Equipment Preparation: Prepare and maintain equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and other devices used during procedures.
  • Communication: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, be registered and/or current RCIS, and hold certifications in Cardiovascular (CV) or CI and/or VI. Additionally, you should have basic life support training and advanced life support training within six months of hire.
