Job Summary

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Digital Signals Analyst, Senior to support a critical Intel Community (IC) mission. The successful candidate will establish definitions of new equipment, techniques, or potential new signals, and provide analytical and operational support for unique tactical and strategic mission intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Signal Analysis: Perform analysis and prepare documentation in connection with radar, instrumentation, electronic counter-measures (ECM), and communication signals.
  • Operational Support: Provide analytical and operational support for unique tactical and strategic mission intelligence systems.
  • Product Development: Support a range of analytical products and functions, including operational scenarios, development of deployment scenarios, site assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
  • System Integration: Analyze complex system integration requirements to identify mission vulnerability targets and develop multiple scenarios to resolve all mission threats.
  • Mission Planning: Perform mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource requirements to counter identified threats.
  • Documentation: Develop documentation to support objectives in support of external agencies.
  • Briefing: Translate analytical results into effective briefings.
  • System Availability: Analyze operational availability of strategic and tactical intelligence assets.
  • Reporting: Develop briefing reports that depict clear assessment of systems availability.
  • Mission Status: Maintain mission status on assigned tactical and strategic systems.
Qualifications
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Field of Study: Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Relevant experience must be in signals analysis, including protocol analysis, and also include network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and/or network security analysis.
  • Security Clearance: Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
