We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Culinary Arts program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and experience in teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses in culinary arts, including food production, fabrication, and restaurant management
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry partners
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and program administrators
- Participate in program development and accreditation activities
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff to promote the culinary arts program
- Masters degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- 5+ years of experience in the culinary industry, including teaching and mentoring
- Strong knowledge of culinary arts and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- PhD in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience teaching online and/or using course management systems
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Fluency in multiple languages
This is a part-time position with a variable schedule. The successful candidate will be required to teach on campus and may be required to teach online.
