Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and outgoing service to customers, resolving complaints and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Participate in suggestive selling to customers, process transactions, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Operations: Follow cash control procedures, complete shift reports, and maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing restrooms.
  • Inventory Management: Stock shelves, coolers, and displays, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Food Service: Prepare food, operate food equipment, and maintain food sanitation guidelines.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain and follow safety procedures, including fuel dispensing, and report any incidents or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Skills: Great customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and basic math calculations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to carry, push/pull, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Able to work alone and/or with others, work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and enter and work in freezer and coolers.
