ProTech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, verifying, and improving processes to produce parts on all CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities:- Receives work assignments and schedules programming work by due date.
- Reviews prints and models to determine the ideal machine and tooling to run parts on CNCs, balancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Verifies programs, tooling, and fixturing with operators to ensure they work as desired in the machine chosen for the operation.
- Maintains workflow using the schedule and time management to ensure operators have programs before they are needed.
- Communicates with machine operators to ensure quality parts are produced.
- Maintains company standards by exemplifying and enforcing core values and quality baseline.
- Directs software, tooling, and fixturing requests to Plant Manager.
- Maintains and develops professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following company and OSHA requirements.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Strong understanding of tooling equipment, tooling processes, and industrial standards.
- Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities based on the schedule.
- Committed to meeting and maintaining quality standards for the company.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Experience in set-up and operation of manufacturing equipment.
- Able to creatively solve problems and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
- Handles programming work of diverse scope and complexity.
- Demonstrates ability to coach, develop, and work well with others in a team setting.
- Has excellent attendance and completes quality work on time.
- Ability to provide immediate supervision to employees, assigning tasks, and checking work at frequent intervals.
