Job Summary:

As a Clinical Nurse RN in our Cardiology Clinic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of our patients. Under the direction of a healthcare provider, you will assist with obtaining basic vital information, preparing patients for examination, treatment, and minor surgical procedures. You will also be responsible for administering vaccines and medications, drawing and collecting blood and other samples, and scheduling referrals for patients with specialists or outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with patient care and preparation for examination, treatment, and minor surgical procedures
Administer vaccines and medications as ordered
Draw and collect blood and other samples for laboratory analysis
Schedule referrals for patients with specialists or outpatient services
Complete appropriate forms or requisitions for referrals or lab testing

Requirements:

Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
Current license to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as a team member and prioritize tasks effectively
