Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer over a route assigned by our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load, unload, and deliver product according to customer specifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Operate Tractor Trailer: Safely operate a tractor trailer rig, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Complete Paperwork: Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and cargo documentation.
  • Collaborate with Team: Cooperate with distribution employees to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Alternate Assignments: Be willing to accept alternate assignments as needed to support the team.
Requirements
  • CDL A License: Possess a valid CDL A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Safety Awareness: Be aware of all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Documentation Skills: Be able to properly fill out all required documentation.
  • Schedule Understanding: Have a complete understanding of the schedule and delivery routes.
  • Math Skills: Be capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Food Safety: Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Reporting: Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
