We are seeking a highly qualified Plumbing Instructor to join our team at Baltimore City Public Schools. As a key member of our Career and Technical Education department, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the plumbing trade, preparing them for industry certification and successful careers in this field.

• Develop and implement comprehensive instructional plans to meet the needs of students in the plumbing trade
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to students, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and best practices in plumbing
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure student success
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and certification requirements
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment

• Bachelor's degree in Career and Technical Education or a related field, or equivalent experience and training
• 2+ years of experience in the plumbing trade, with a strong background in teaching and training
• Eligibility for Maryland State Department of Education licensure in Professional and Technical Education
• Possession of or eligibility for Maryland Board of Plumbing Contractors Master License (preferred)
• Possession of or eligibility for NCCER instructor certification
