As a Renal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our dialysis program.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis-related topics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and program performance
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
- Experience in nephrology nursing or dialysis care preferred
