About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Kohl's. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment in all areas of the store. Your daily tasks will include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, as well as completing operational processes to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean all areas of the store, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, following Kohl's best practices and standards.
  • Utilize approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Maintain levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies by placing orders to replenish when supplies are low.
  • Complete and maintain required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance.
  • Routinely complete basic equipment maintenance following company guidelines.
  • Effectively use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team.
  • Support the operations team to receive and process product, execute stockroom operations, and omni-channel fulfillment when needed.
  • Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

  • Receive, understand, and proactively respond to direction from supervisors/managers and other company personnel.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
  • Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • No retail experience required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

  • Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
