Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and escort guests to their table, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Payment Processing: Accept payments from restaurant guests utilizing a computerized cash register and maintain an accurate bank.
  • Menu Management: Provide menus to guests and inform them of specials, highlighting our daily offerings and promotions.
  • Service Coordination: Circulate through the restaurant and coordinate activities of service personnel to provide fast and courteous service to customers.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect and monitor the cleanliness of the dining area and ensure compliance with safety and health code regulations.
  • Customer Resolution: Resolve customer complaints, or refer to the restaurant manager as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of the number of guests served during shift, employee absences, or problems with equipment or food service.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a computerized cash register to itemize and process guest checks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Bank Management: Maintain an accurate bank at all times, ensuring seamless transactions and minimizing errors.
