Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This includes preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, and monitoring patients during and after procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Administer medications and fluids as ordered by the physician
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Alaska
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
