Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center is seeking a part-time Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at our preschool special education program in Fredonia, NY. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work towards the student's IEP goals and provide PT services to students with congenital or developmental disabilities.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to provide evaluations, diagnoses, and interventions for students with physical impairments. You will be responsible for creating treatment plans, communicating with other team members, and collaborating with families and educators.

**Responsibilities:**

* Evaluate therapy needs and create treatment plans
* Perform physical therapy procedures as ordered by physicians or documented on IEPs
* Communicate with OT/PT Manager and other team members
* Collaborate with families and educators to facilitate comprehensive treatment
* Supervise and mentor PTAs and student PTs
* Participate in in-service education programs and staff training
* Record patient charts and submit notes and evaluations within agency guidelines
* Make recommendations for purchases of specialized program materials and equipment

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of a Physical Therapy curriculum from an accredited university or college
* New York State Licensed and Registered as a Physical Therapist
* Ability to perform physical actions such as standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and reaching
* Adequate vision, speech, tactile, and hearing senses to perform job requirements
