We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking High-Quality Images: Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures and protocols
  • Patient Care: Instructs patients regarding procedures, observes patients for vital signs during examination, and places patient safety first
  • Radiologic Equipment Maintenance: Follows prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment, selects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis, and examines radiologic images for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion
  • Quality Control: Does quality control of images on DR/CR machine and Stentor, checks to make sure all information (images and paperwork) are there for Radiologist, and authorizes release of patients upon completion of radiologic examination
  • Procedure Support: Demonstrates an understanding and ability to operate the C-Arm and its various functions under the direction of a physician, operates C-arm to provide assistance to physicians with procedures, and assists in ASC procedure room including preparing procedure supplies and medications following infection control and sterile field procedures, documenting details and events during procedures, cleaning and maintaining equipment and work area, and maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
  • Training and Development: Completes orientation and training specific to ASC duties, participates in ASC meetings and huddles, releases radiologic images to patients in the form of a CD or printed paper, and participates in training employees and student technologists in equipment operation, patient movement, and quality assurance

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiological Technology and current ARRT certification
  • Licensure: Active WA state license or pending application
