Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and facility. The successful candidate will perform various sanitation and custodial tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, and mopping floors, as well as maintaining the overall appearance of the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily sanitation and cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and facility, including the cleaning of restrooms and other high-traffic areas.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Work effectively with the supervisor to minimize warehouse shrink and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of warehouse or custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and safety protocols.
