We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Albany Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments as ordered by physicians
- Document patient treatment and progress according to company policy and regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Previous experience as a PCA or other nursing assistance preferred
