About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Route Logistics Manager to join our team at Brink's, Incorporated. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing drivers, messengers, and guards, as well as overseeing the secure and efficient functioning of our armored car operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Manage Route Logistics Team Members: Provide first-line supervision to a team of Route Logistics employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure Route Logistics Efficiency: Analyze and optimize route logistics to minimize costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a Safe and Secure Environment: Ensure the safety and security of all Route Logistics employees, as well as the security of our customers' assets.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive cost savings, quality enhancements, and efficiency gains.
  • Provide Quality Customer Service: Maintain and provide high-quality customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Secure Inventories and Assets: Execute controls and ensure strict compliance with security procedures to protect our customers' assets and reduce risk exposure.
  • Establish and Maintain Accountability: Establish and maintain accountability on the front line of the market, scheduling and developing staff, maintaining positive Employee Relations, and creating a cooperative team atmosphere of employee engagement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 Years Operations Experience: In transportation and/or logistics, with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Class B with Air Brakes Driver's License: Satisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirements.
  • Valid Firearms Permit or Ability to Pass Licensing Requirements: A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses.
  • Able to Lift at Least 50 Pounds: Meet the physical demands of the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years ATM Operations and Claims Experience: Previous experience as an armored car driver, knowledge of route analysis and logistics, lean/process improvement methodologies, and budgeting and planning experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field, such as business administration or logistics.
