Quality Consulting Group, a prominent entity in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, and manufacturing sectors, is seeking a dedicated and driven individual to fill the role of Manufacturing Associate. This position involves contributing to a high-performing team within a world-class manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in a fast-paced production setting, supporting various development, clinical, and launch initiatives.
- Execute operations in the Manufacturing area under general supervision.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all operations.
- Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and utilize analytical instruments.
- Perform washroom duties, including cleaning both small and large-scale production equipment.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Initiate and complete quality reports as required.
- Draft and update essential documents, including SOPs and Manufacturing Procedures (MPs).
- Assist in reviewing documentation for assigned tasks, such as equipment logs and batch records.
- Work safely around high-pressure systems and heavy machinery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Process Development or Manufacturing.
- Proficiency in setting up, cleaning, and sanitizing various manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in preparing buffers and media according to established manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
- Familiarity with GMP documentation (SOPs, MPs) and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed shoes, lab coats, safety glasses, and gloves.
- Mechanically inclined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to work multiple shifts on a rotating basis.
