Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care

The Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care role at Winner Regional Health is a vital part of our healthcare team. As a CNA, you will assist in the provision of nursing care to our residents, working under the direction of our Charge Nurses/LPNs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of nursing care to residents, including comfort and safety measures, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans, including nutrition and elimination.
  • Observe residents for reactions to treatments or unusual conditions and report to Charge Nurses.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and hazard-free resident care environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired.
  • Certification from a state-approved program for nursing assistant or completion of in-house certification program within four months of employment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional exposure to blood, body fluids, and waste.
  • May be required to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
