About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team at Southeast Primary Care Partners. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide primary medical diagnostic and therapeutic care, referring consultations for specialty care as needed.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive in building relationships with patients, and have a strong ability to work independently. They will also be responsible for creating patient-specific health programs, monitoring and adapting individualized health programs over time, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop personal relationships with patients and assess their needs.
  • Plan and implement care for patients in a timely manner, including creating patient-specific health programs.
  • Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time, scheduling follow-up examinations as necessary.
  • Administer vaccinations, perform medical procedures, and recommend specialists for treatment outside of your purview.
  • Remain in compliance with all rules and regulations set by the Georgia Composite Board based on the Georgia Medical Practice Act.
  • Educate patients in health management and disease prevention, supporting the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Assume responsibility for day-to-day supervision of physician assistants/nurse practitioners and participate in medical staff peer review processes.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required; current State of Georgia License in good standing.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required.
  • Current Georgia Medical License and Valid DEA required.
  • Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Caring, attentive nature, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Benefits and Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $175,000-$225,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. Our physicians also have access to continuing education opportunities and professional development resources.
