This position requires a commitment to safety and maintaining a clean driving record. Candidates must possess a DOT physical and medical card before commencing duties. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves providing informative narration during transit. Comprehensive training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Conduct pre-departure safety briefings, ensuring all guests are informed about onboard safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safety procedures while operating the vehicle.
- Offer engaging narration to passengers, highlighting local attractions and historical insights.
- Distribute waiver forms to guests, collect completed forms, and hand them to guides upon arrival at the tour site.
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance and address minor repairs as needed.
- Ensure the vehicle is cleaned thoroughly, both inside and out, on a daily basis.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate varying tour times.
