Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled LPN Medication Care Manager to join our team. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living policies.
- Resident Care: Provide resident care while demonstrating the Sunrise Senior Living mission, values, and principles. Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
- Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Practice safety procedures at all times, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, and Lockout Tagout procedures.
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
- Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
