Gastrointestinal Specialist

Candler County Hospital seeks a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our gastrointestinal services.

• Perform investigative endoscopic procedures, including ERCPs, colonoscopies, and upper endoscopies.
• Conduct research to advance knowledge about gastrointestinal diseases and treatments.
• Prescribe medication and perform surgery to treat digestive disorders.
• Participate in education activities to maintain professional certification.
• Refer patients to other medical professionals and specialists as needed.

• Medical School Graduate, MD
• Currently licensed in Georgia
• Must have current Federal DEA and State DEA
• Must be in good standing with the Georgia Board of Medical Licensure

• Five years of experience in private or group practice
• Maintenance of credentialing and licensing

May be exposed to patient elements, prolonged standing, and lifting of 20+ pounds.

Rapidly changing and stressful environment. Ability to communicate with various levels of people.
