Job Description

Gosnold, a nationally accredited non-profit leader in mental health and substance use disorders, seeks a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join its team.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Culinary Expertise: Prepare three nutritious meals daily, adhering to established standards of nutrition, sanitation, and quality.
  2. Training and Development: Attend continuing in-service trainings to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  3. Supply Management: Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  4. Department Leadership: Assist the Food Service Director in developing, implementing, and coordinating department policies and procedures.
  5. Ongoing Support: Perform all other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of food services.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of cooking experience.
  • Skills: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand, move, bend, and stoop throughout the workday.
