Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter/Concrete Finisher to join our team in Georgetown, SC. This is a regular full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Check forms to ensure they are properly constructed, and finish concrete by chipping, scraping, and grinding high spots, ridges, and rough projections using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, and/or hand tools.
  • Structural Anchoring: Anchor and brace structures using various materials and power tools.
  • Expansion Jointing: Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction or concrete finishing role.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas.
  • Full range of motion and flexibility.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions of the job.
  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age.
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders.
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
