About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team at Hajoca Corporation. As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck to transport goods to customers. This is not a dock-to-dock driving position, and you will be required to unload material at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load truck in the morning with boxes from the warehouse and PVP pipe from the yard
  • Drive to customer locations, which may be approximately 1-to-2-hour drives
  • Unload material as required, which may involve hauling material by hand or with the use of a pallet jack/dolly
  • Assist as needed with warehouse work on slower days to advance job skills
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience driving a 26-foot box truck. You will also need to be able to safely operate a large truck and have problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.

Requirements:
  • At least 21 years old if operating a commercial motor vehicle (GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy
  • Must pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work
  • Experience driving a 26-foot box truck
  • Capable of driving a large truck safely
