Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Equiliem Healthcare. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

• Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
• Prepare blood samples for lab testing by labeling and packaging them according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including demographic data and medical history.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
