We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our DispatchHealth Imaging team, you will travel to various locations to perform portable x-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to patient locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential homes, to perform portable x-rays and other diagnostic tests.
- Determine proper electronic and technical factors based on patient needs.
- Follow ALARA principles for reducing radiation exposure.
- Prepare accurate physician and patient orders and transmit reading as required in a timely manner.
- Set, adjust, and operate a variety of electronic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R) or Limited Scope X-ray Operator.
- State x-ray license (if applicable).
- Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
