We are looking for a detail-oriented Speech Language Pathology Assistant to collaborate with our team of speech-language pathologists at Humboldt Unified School District. As a key member of our team, you will contribute significantly to providing high-quality patient care and support services. Your main duties will include conducting speech and language screenings, assisting with direct patient care under the direction of the speech-language pathologist, documenting patient progress, and performing various administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
Administer standardized tests to evaluate patients' speech and language abilitiesAssist speech-language pathologists with executing treatment plans and developing new onesEnter accurate information about patient progress into records and submit reportsParticipate in ongoing quality improvement efforts and adapt processes as neededOperate audiovisual equipment, prepare materials, and perform other related tasksNecessary Skills:
To succeed in this position, you need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Prior experience in speech pathology and proficiency in office software are also expected. Additionally, it's essential to possess the required licenses and clearances mentioned above.
