Role Summary

Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Regional Infusion Nurse Specialist. This position primarily operates in a mobile capacity, covering various infusion centers as needed. The infusion nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services in specialized settings, including infectious disease, gastroenterology, and allergy/asthma.

This role is ideal for nursing professionals who excel in dynamic environments and are committed to providing exceptional infusion therapy to patients utilizing state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Traveling to multiple Office Infusion Centers (OIC) for staffing and training purposes
  • Serving as a mentor and preceptor for nursing staff
  • Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments
  • Managing PIV and central line care and access
  • Providing patient education regarding medications and disease processes
  • Preparing and administering medications
  • Ensuring patient safety through monitoring and follow-up
  • Coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Managing referrals effectively

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting preferred
  • Experience in critical care or outpatient/homecare infusion preferred
  • Recent experience with intravenous administration and catheter management
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Licenses and Certifications

Applicants must possess:
  • A valid registered nurse license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Preferred certifications: CRNI, VA-BC, OCN
