We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in our community.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience working with students in educational settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
