Child Focused Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child/Adolescent Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for children, adolescents, and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including initial assessments, ongoing treatment plans, case notes, and progress reviews.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage with external stakeholders to coordinate holistic care for clients.
- Participate in clinical team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work) from an accredited institution.
- Clinical licensure (or working toward licensure) as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or related credential in New York State.
- Demonstrated experience and passion for working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child development and its intersection with psychopathology.
