Paramedic Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time Paramedic Instructor to join our team. As a Paramedic Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching paramedic students in a laboratory setting and evaluating their performance.
Responsibilities:- Teach paramedic students in a laboratory setting, including conducting simulations and evaluating student performance.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of paramedic students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic.
- Experience teaching paramedic students in a laboratory setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
The work environment is an indoor, office setting. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
Salary Range:The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
