Job Summary:

The Custodian is a key member of the Sandhills Global facilities team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emptying trash and recycling bins, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture
  • Cleaning restrooms, kitchen areas, office space, conference rooms, warehouse, and manufacturing areas
  • Stocking, organizing, and maintaining essential supplies in kitchen areas, restrooms, cleaning carts, and janitorial closets
  • Completing daily prioritized tasks and adhering to all safety regulations, including MSDS
  • Assuming other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and fully understand cautions and warnings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment as required
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to safely work with and around common cleaning products
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to travel both air and surface - valid driver's license required

Working Conditions:

The Custodian will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
