Welding Inspector

Job Summary

As a Welding Inspector with Tailing Inspection And Training Services LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of pipeline and facility construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of welding processes, procedures, and inspection methods, as well as the ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and oversee contractors' work to ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Conduct visual inspections of welded joints and identify and evaluate weld discontinuities.

Evaluate premises for safety and participate in daily tailgate meetings to enforce company safety programs.

Verify that craft discipline work is performed in compliance with specifications, plans, and codes.

Prepare samples of unapproved materials for laboratory testing and examine quality of finished installations for conformity to standards.

Requirements

5 years of oil and gas construction inspection or related experience (8 years preferred).

AWS CWI certification and knowledge of relevant codes and standards (API 1169, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, etc.).

OSHA 10-Hour Card for construction (1926) is preferred.
